About Us:
M1Xchange is an RBI licensed TReDS platform (Trade Receivables Discounting System) enabling thousands of MSMEs to get their receivables paid early and grow their business. The platform enables MSMEs to discount their approved invoices pending with corporate buyers’ basis a unique bidding model from 55+ banks and NBFCs to get the best interest rates for the transaction.
According to an EY report, the credit gap in India’s MSME sector stands at $530 billion while only around 14 per cent of 64 million MSMEs have access to formal credit.
M1Xchange has recently expanded the scope of TReDS through Small-to-Small (S2S) financing that bridges the credit gap and integrates tier 2 and tier 3 MSMEs into the formal credit ecosystem. Its product ‘M1xchange Small-Small’ is a one-stop plug-and-play platform for cash-flow based financing to small MSME sellers on TReDS.
With a focus on driving financial inclusion and providing cutting-edge services, we are poised for rapid growth and expansion. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team.

Role Background
Virtual RMs (VRMs) shall be responsible for coverage of S2S Target Market virtually leveraging rich MSME client base of M1xchange through primarily Digital Formats of engagement.

VRM Job Responsibilities

  • To follow Relationship Banking approach to build long term relationships with existing MSME Sellers on the platform by understanding the Invoice financing needs.
  • Carry out sustained S2S Business development efforts by generating Sales Leads through Virtual engaging the key Promoters of MSMEs
  • Expedite MSME Buyer onboarding on our Portal by collecting KYC and other desired Pre Sanction documents by assisting the MSME Buyer user/s.
  • Practise desired sales process and self-governance through joint screening of credit quality of S2S prospects along with BB RMs before it moves to internal credit for onward approvals from Financiers on M1xchange platform.
  • Proactively seek referrals from existing and prospective MSME Buyers and Vendors to generate S2S prospects and build relationships for achieving long term success.
  • Ensure adequate Sales/Leads Funnel build through continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders like Product, Analytics, Credit and business teams.
  • Deliver stretched targets by adopting Industry best Business development and relationship management practices.
  • Fulfil the business revenue/budget plans consistently.

 

Profile and Qualifications

  • Have holistic understanding of the B2B Business Challenges and Opportunities
  • Ability to proactively spot business opportunities, overcome challenges if any to lay strong S2S Business foundation and subsequent rapid scale up
  • The candidate will also be required to periodically update seniors/management personnel, and clients on any Business development and relationship management related Opportunities and Challenges
  • Graduate degree/Postgraduate (preferably commerce background) from reputed management Institute/ College.
  • Awareness of Financials and trade finance products and related services along with associated documentation and processes for fulfilment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Digital and technology savvy.
  • Solution oriented.
  • Ability to read and analyse data.
